MLM has cheerleaders?
Yeah, yeah, I know… what a funny name. But seriously, the other day I texted my friend to see how her MLM Business is going, she is in XYZ Company ( I won’t mention the name, or her name). But here is our chat thread from my palm treo 700. I really love that phone… it records text messaging threads like an Instant Messenger chat! So anyway… here it is:
Me : cool… How’s XYZ Company treating you?
Her: Its GREAT! Best Company and product EVER!
Me : Lol…. You are a good cheerleader… You weren’t in high school were you?
Her: Nope. I didn’t like cheerleaders.
Me: Why not?
Her: Just didn’t… They are fake and thats not what I’m about.
Me: Amen… Me too… Can’t stand fake people
Ok, so maybe I was a bit harsh, but at the same time… I know for a fact that she is not doing that well at it. We went and looked at BMW X5’s about 5 months ago, and she said that she would have one the following month. To my knowledge she has 4 customers that aren’t even all on autoship in XYZ Company. I thought if things were going “GREAT!” she would be doing a bit better. Now I have known this girl for some time, and I know when she is lying. The fact that she over exaggerated completely does not win points in my book, or others.
I do have a primary MLM Company… ABC Company… not XYZ Company.
But in all seriousness I really like the company, the management, I use the products, and I call the shots as they are. I’m not full of hype, I shoot straight with you about how I feel about things. A lot of the companies have great products, but when you start saying “my juice is better that your juice, etc.” you will not recruit that person, period.
Network Marketing is about building RELATIONSHIPS, yes thats right… Relationships. You help people, build a relationship the money will follow. Help others, don’t see them with a dollar sign on their forehead! Serve others, and you will attract great people in your network marketing business. That is the lesson for today, hope you enjoyed it.
